Falls are the leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries for older Americans. Falls threaten safety and independence and generate enormous economic and personal costs.
Statistics show that as we age our sense of balance gets altered and we are at greater risk of falling.
Another unknown fact is that most falls can be prevented and even avoided if you are strong in the right places? Being strong isn’t he right places will not only help in avoiding falling, but, when falling, being strong in the right places could potentially make the fall less serious.

Strengthening your CORE!!!!!!!
Blah blah is what you are saying because that term “strengthen your core” in my opinion is overused and under utilized and by that I mean people say it, but they don’t actually know how to get the client to engage it. In my world, “strengthen your core” has not only a meaning but a purpose. You know I don’t mean 500 sit-ups a day, nor do I believe that just because you have a six pack you are golden because those things have no real impact on true core strength. When I refer to “strengthen the Core”, I’m referencing one specific muscle and that is TvA ~ transverse abdominus!!! If you know my work then you know that this is the key to your powerhouse! It is the key to making all of your moves more functional and dynamic and it is the reason you will have better balance, better posture, better flexibility and better muscle tone!
2018 will be the year to get your self strong from TvA all the way up to those pretty six packs and you will learn what to do and how to do it the right way. You will develop muscles you never knew you had because no one has ever told you how to activate them properly and you will see results!
